The project provides for the design and implementation of a mechatronic system to study the impact of renewable raw materials on the strength properties of packaging materials. It will include a test system to control the tests performed on an Instron testing machine, an organic carbon analyzer and laboratory microscopes. In the appropriately programmed phases of the study, the system will take photos or observe the process using the camera. In order to properly record the relative elongation of packaging films under static stretching, the testing machine will be enriched with a system to monitor the actual elongation, omitting the sections flowing from the jaws in which the sample material is placed.
Thanks to the mechatronic system, it will be possible to make comparative analyzes of the results obtained for packaging materials made from various renewable raw materials, as well as to analyze the impact of such materials on the strength parameters of the packaging.
